Promoting Good Dental Habits to Children for “Hapee” and Healthy Teeth

Some parents think it is not important to instill good oral habits among children because milk teeth are eventually replaced by permanent teeth.

Contrary to this common perception, however, lack of dental hygiene has negative consequences for young children who are susceptible to developing cavities just as adults are. The milk they drink and the food they eat can cause acid attacks, resulting in dental caries and tooth decay.
Aside from brushing every after meal daily, remember to bring your little ones to the dentist every 6 months.

For this reason, it is important to promote good oral care habits among youngsters at an early stage. Proper dental hygiene results in strong teeth for your little ones, and also initiates long-term good oral health for them.

Encouraging kids to practice the brushing habit even at very early ages will result in good long term oral health.

With this in mind, Hapee Kiddie Anti-Cavity Toothpaste generously shares tips that foster proper oral care habits for your kids at home:

• First, and most important habit of them all, teach your kids how to brush in their early years. Proper brushing habits—combined with the right toothpaste—equate to cavity-free kids.

• Choose a toothpaste with kid-safe level of fluoride. For instance, Hapee Kiddie Anti-Cavity Toothpaste has a fluoride level of 1,000 ppm—the recommended amount of fluoride for children’s toothpaste by the Philippine Pedriatrics Dental Society Inc. and among others. *

• Use oral care products designed for kids, like brushes with smaller heads that clean tiny mouths better, and with wider handles that little hands can easily grasp. Children likewise prefer fun and fruity flavors in toothpaste, instead of strong, minty ones.

• Encourage your little ones to brush longer and better with Hapee Kiddie’s 7 kid-citing flavors: Strawberry Bloom, Orange Squeeze, Tutti Frutti Twist, Juicy Grapes, Apple Crunch, Bubblegum Pop, and Cookies and Cream Ahoy.

• Teach your kids the ideal brushing time—which is at least two minutes—by making it fun and easy to remember: just sing the alphabet song in their heads twice.

• Remember that toothbrushes should be replaced every three to four months—or even sooner, if these have become frayed or worn out, and whenever your child goes through a bad case of cold or flu.

• Aside from proper brushing with Hapee Kiddie Anti-Cavity Toothpaste, watch what your kids eat. Wean them away from junk food and offer them healthy snacks instead. Introduce your kids at an early age to nuts and fruits as snacks—not candy bars or sugary foods.

• Also, have them maintain oral care with regular visits to the dentist every 6 months. A great idea: time their dental checkups with your own in order to show that dental care is a priority.
Brushing regularly benefits both you and your child by protecting your pearly whites from plaque, bacteria and cavities.

For children, the best choice of toothpaste is Hapee Kiddie Anti-Cavity Toothpaste, with a fluoride level of 1,000 ppm, the recommended amount of fluoride for children’s toothpaste.

Remember: Happy habits are essential for children’s healthy teeth, especially the brushing habit. When it comes to your child’s toothpaste, choose Hapee Kiddie Anti-Cavity Toothpaste, an expert at making brush time fun time.

Enteng Kabisote and The Abangers: Set To Save the World from Digital Menace

In the tradition of offering family-friendly fare, Vic Sotto and his Dabarkads are back for another blockbuster fantasy-adventure movie based on the well-loved Pinoy pop culture icon! Kids are in for a treat as Bossing reprises his beloved role as Enteng Kabisote in the latest instalment of the movie series titled: Enteng Kabisote 10 and The Abangers.

The comedy-adventure movie follows the reluctant hero in his latest fantastical escapade. Through hard work and determination, Enteng Kabisote has used his talent to “butingting everything” to become an ironworks and robotics magnate. Since his last adventure in Engkantasya, he has settled down to becoming a successful businessman, community leader, and a doting grandfather to his cute and bubbly grandchild Benokis, as his son Benok (Oyo Boy Sotto) tackles fatherhood and his duty as a law enforcer. Little does he know that trouble is brewing and he will be called on once again to save the world.

Enteng’s nemesis is Kwak-kwak (played by Epi Quizon), a power-obsessed villain who was booted out from Engkantasya. He has the capability to control minds who has launched a virtual reality game that transmits his mind control to anyone who plays it. The villainous plot is helped along by Bibi, Kwak-kwak’s devoted second-in-command and Bibe, his moronic but useful sibling, along with A1/ALLAN & A2/ALLAINE, the two creators of the viral game app which Kwak-Kwak uses as a channel to spread his psychic powers to control humankind.

To defeat Kwak-kwak and restore order in the real world, Enteng calls upon a team of misfits, who form his Abangers team. They are individuals who have unusual special powers and have been waiting for a long time to put these powers into good use. The Abangers are actually OEWs (overseas engkantasya workers), whose powers Kwak-kwak needs to harness in order to fulfill his nefarious mission.

On his team, Enteng has three inimitable sisters: Nidora (Wally Bayola), a fierce but values-centric granny who possesses an equally fierce loud voice called "The Incredible Voice"; Tinidora (Jose Manalo), who has very quick reflexes and engaging dance moves called "The Flash Dance", and Tidora (Paolo Ballesteros), a flirtatious hot granny who channels her hot flashes to other persons through her stare. They are joined by Remy or “The Mister Iron", a tour guide and family guy who can seemingly flatten any tangible materials, Oring, a spunky female fortune teller in Quiapo who can perfectly predict anyone’s future but only for a span of two minutes, Lucas, a muscled handsome guy from Tondo who possesses incredible strength and a high pitched voice, and Bistika, a standup gay comedian who can perfectly blend himself with his surroundings -- while doing some pakganern splits!

Will Enteng and the Abangers be able to save the world?

Moviegoers can find out in theaters on November 30, 2016.

The movie is directed by Marlon Rivera and Tony Y. Reyes, and produced by OctoArts Films, M-Zet Productions and APT Entertainment.

OPPO introduces new partners, limited edition F1s

OPPO may have already become the country’s second bestselling smartphone, but the brand remains committed to increasing its market share in ASEAN’s fastest growing mobile market.

In less than three months since the F1s sold out immediately after its debut in August, OPPO introduces a limited edition metallic grey variant of its celebrated camera phone—the F1s Limited.

The F1s Limited has the same features of the F1s including its 16-megapixel front camera, large F/2.0 aperture, selfie-enhancing Beautify 4.0 app, and lightning-fast fingerprint recognition access.
We are proud that OPPO has reached big milestones despite being relatively new in the Philippine smartphone market. It shows how much our smartphones appeal to Filipinos, especially among those who enjoy taking selfies,” said OPPO Philippines Brand Marketing Manager Stephen Cheng.
“This would not have been possible without our partnerships, which helped us achieve our current standing today,” Cheng added.

Continuing partnerships

A long-time partner of the smartphone brand, e-commerce store Lazada has just added the F1s Limited to its growing roster of OPPO phones for online shoppers.

Consumer finance provider Home Credit has also extended its partnership with OPPO to January 2017. Currently, Home Credit is offering the F1s at zero percent interest at P1,449/month.

Title sponsor

During the unveiling of the F1s Limited, TV5 president Coach Chot Reyes joined OPPO executives to announce that the smartphone brand will be the title sponsor of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) 2017-2018 season.

The upcoming season will air on Sports5, the sports division of the Kapatid network.

This year, OPPO served as the title sponsor of the PBA Governors’ Cup.

Available in prepaid and postpaid

OPPO also announced its new partnership with Smart for both prepaid and postpaid.

Three OPPO handsets, the A37, the Neo7, and the F1, are now bundled with an LTE SIM card with free 100MB for Facebook and games every month, as well as a 1GB monthly data reward for those who get P300 load.

Smart is also offering the F1s through its Giga Plan 999, which comes with a free 50-minute call to all networks, unlimited texts, free YouTube, and 5GB worth of free internet.

The F1s Limited will be available in concept and dealer stores starting November 11. The suggested retail price is P12,990.

KAIZEN Studios presents Fil-Am Director Anthony Diaz V film : “BREAK” ( crime, drama, love story and action film )

KAIZEN STUDIOS presents “BREAK” a crime, drama, love story and action film written and directed by Anthony Diaz V, who is also the lead star of this full feature film.

“BREAK” is a story of a young Japanese-American man who crosses the line with the underworld element in Tokyo, while dealing with his own personal struggle of being an outsider trying to fit in with Japanese society. The story is told with the backdrop of the American and Japanese Hip-Hop & Rap scene.

The 1st Hollywood style movie that was shot in Japan, with Japanese actors speaking both English & Japanese throughout the film, “BREAK”  movie caters to a Global Audience.

“BREAK” press conference on Saturday, November 19, 2016,  Power Plant Mall, Rockwell Center, Makati, Philippines

“BREAK” starring Anthony Diaz V, Namihiko Oomura, Kaede Ishizuka & Tohru Watanabe. Japanese rapper Ish-One and American rapper Crazy-T infuse hip-ho into the movie soundtrack and are also showcased in the film.

Anthony Diaz V discovered his love for film and has since completed dozens of short films starting from the young age of 15. This has given him a broad range of hands on experience through screen writing, directing, producing, acting and editing his own short films.

His passion for film-making led him to enroll at the University of Las Vegas Film School, USA (UNLV) where many famous movie directors and producers have taught. He graduated with high honors with a Bachelor Degree in Film in the year 2010 at the age of 20 making him the youngest graduate in the history of the program.

Anthony wrote, directed and acted in a short film called “Delusion” which was specially showcased at the UNLV Film Festival. The next film he wrote, directed and acted in is called “Forgotten Heroes.”This film is about the war in Afghanistan and how it affects a U.S. military family. It received rave reviews and has played at various movie festivals and is under consideration to be showcased at Capitol Hill in Washington D.C.

“BREAK” press conference on Saturday, November 19, 2016,  Power Plant Mall, Rockwell Center, Makati, Philippines
In 2012, Anthony started a film production company called Kaizen Studios in Las Vegas, Nevada USA. In 2013, he also established Kaizen Studios Co., Ltd. in the Shibuya District in the heart of Tokyo, Japan. He recently completed an Independent Hollywood movie, called “BREAK” in which he wrote, directed and acted in which uses Japan as a backdrop. He is currently in Pre-Production for his next film to be produced in Tokyo and is also playing the Lead Actor in an upcoming Gorio Vicuna Film. Anthony Diaz V has been visiting Japan each year since the age of 8, which has greatly influenced his journey in the world of film.
"When I was a kid, my family had movie night every Friday. After every film I would ask my parents..."what motivated the characters actions?" At age 8 my dad let me watch The Godfather, Taxi Driver, Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, El Mariachi, The Shawshank Redemption etc. Films that many kids my age at the time wouldn't be interested in. Also, for as long as I can remember, I along with my brother and sisters would always re-enact movie scenes and quoted movie lines everywhere we went," shared Anthony Diaz V regarding his journey in films.
"I always wanted to be an actor first and was in school plays since I was 5 years old, in Kindergarten. I thought that actors were the extent of the "movies." Not realizing till later on that there was a whole process behind what we see on screen. So when I became aware of the process, thats when I asked my dad for a camera and he gave me a cheap China made digital 4MB SD card palm camera," said T-Boy, as Anthony is called.
""BREAK" was actually inspired from a short film I made when I was 17 years old called "Lunch Break" which I shot with my high school friends in Vegas. The premise of the story is similar, but I expanded the universe and characters against the backdrop of Japan.
This film is really unique as it blends American storytelling with Japanese cinema infused with hip-hop. Its the first time to my knowledge that a film has simultaneous English and Japanese language throughout the movie with supporting subtitles.
But most importantly, the overall theme is of a foreigner trying desperately to fit in. It is what most of us have experienced in some form or another."

Anthony (T-Boy) hopes “Break” will be chosen to compete at the next Sundance International Film Festival.
“We are waiting for the announcement in December. This is my first submission, but I’ve attended the festival several times, years ago. The event is the perfect place to meet new people I can learn a lot from. Also, most film buyers and distributors attend Sundance more than any other film festival in the world. So if you are accepted into Sundance, it’s the closest to hitting a home run.”
