Let''s #LoveThrowback the second time around and fall in love the OPM way this Valentine’s

Many people around the world celebrate Valentine's Day by sharing sweet moments with the people they love.

Lovers will swoon this Valentine’s Day with serenades from some of the country’s top OPM singers.

At the PICC Plenary Hall this February 14, 8:30PM, a concert titled #LoveThrowback2 will bring together Ariel Rivera, Joey Generoso, Jinky Vidal, Nina, Christian Bautista, and Hajji Alejandro to send hearts aflutter with timeless OPM love songs.

#LoveThrowback’s second run celebrates the season once again with OPM songs that stir the heart. Nothing invokes passion and heartache more than Filipino ballads that tell of love, loss, acceptance, and taking another chance.

Leading the star-studded lineup is the ‘90s’ Kilabot ng Kolehiyala Ariel Rivera whose hit singles “Sana Kahit Minsan,” “Ayoko Na Sana,” and “Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin” are sure to resonate with sweethearts and hopeless romantics alike this year.

Band Royalties Joey G. and Jinky Vidal will also tug on heartstrings with bittersweet melodies.

Former frontman Joey G. is set to perform Side A classics including “So Many Questions,” “Tell Me,” and “Forevermore.” As for Jinky, the crowd is in for a treat with “If I Believe” as well as “One Hello” and “So Slow” from her days with Freestyle.

Joining #LoveThrowback for a second time, Diamond Soul Siren Nina will deliver another stunning performance with her rendition of “Through the Fire,” “I Love You Goodbye,” and “Love Moves in Mysterious Ways.”

Reality show Star in a Million finalist Christian Bautista has gone a long way and has captivated many hearts both here and abroad. The Asian Pop Superstar’s chart-toppers “Colour Everywhere,” “The Way You Look at Me,” and his rendition of “Hands to Heaven” will grace audiences this year with sweet musical caresses.

Finally to cap off the night, the original Kilabot ng Kolehiyala Hajji Alejandro will take OPM back to its founding years with “May Minamahal,” “Nakapagtataka,” and “Panakip Butas.”

As Viber Philippines recently had a media event called Viber Now Open held at Valkyrie, Bonifacio Global Center last July 21, celebrating 25 million Filipino app users and launch more interesting new things and stickers for Viber users.

Viber, the Philippines’ leading communications app, celebrates its continuous growth in the country as it recently hit 25 million unique registered users nationwide. Viber also officially opens its doors to brands and businesses in the Philippines

Viber has become a household name for Filipinos here and abroad when it comes to connecting with their friends and family.

Each month, Filipinos send over 44 million stickers through Viber messaging and group chats. Viber stickers have indeed become a new and fun way for Filipinos to communicate and express themselves.
At the celebration party of Viber last July 21, Viber Regional Head for Southeast Asia, Crystal Gonzalez, said “we truly appreciate the overwhelming and continued support from our Filipino users and we’re committed to making Viber even better through local content and partnerships that celebrate and empower Filipinos and be part of their daily lives.”
Based on Viber’s latest sticker data, users in the Philippines are fond of sending stickers about daily expressions such as “Xoxo” (kiss mark), “Good night”, “Good morning”, thumbs up, “I miss you”, “Thank you”, and sad face.

Moreover, the most downloaded sticker packs in the Philippines—Violet, Freddie, Yango, LegCat, Noy Pi, Becky Vibe, and Vibe On—feature famous Viber characters as well as slang words that Filipinos use on a daily basis.

To make sticker content more relevant for Filipino users, Viber has partnered with the Presidential Communications Office to create awareness on being a #PartnerForChange and has collaborated with the country’s most-awarded male recording artist and performer, Gary Valenciano.

You can now download the free #GVonViber Sticker Pack, which features legendary Filipino musician/singer/songwriter, Gary V, and his iconic song titles like “Hataw Na,” “Shout For Joy,” “Take Me Out of the Dark,” “Di Bale Na Lang,” “Sana Maulit Muli,” “Eto Na Naman,” among many others.

To download, visit the Viber Sticker Market and search for #GVonViber.

Also follow Gary V’s Public Chat for behind the scenes and his conversations with his family and celebrity friends (Visit www.viber.com/garyv).

Viber is also a #PartnerForChange, and being the leading communications app, has partnered with the Presidential Communications Office to launch a Public Chat (www.viber.com/presidentialcom), providing official news and announcements straight from the Presidential team.

Ms. Crystal Gonzales, Viber Regional Head for Southeast Asia

The #ViberForChange Sticker Pack was launched using the most popular expressions and social media memes like “Just DU it!,” “Change Is Here,” “Aprub Yan!,” “Proud to be Pinoy,” “Daghang Salamat,” among others.

Lastly, to further enrich content and engagement with Viber users, Viber is officially opening its doors for business and partnerships in the Philippines. Viber has collaborated with industry leaders like Jollibee, Coca-Cola, Sunsilk, Globe, Smart, PLDT, GMA News, Inquirer, ABS-CBN, and McDonald’s.

"We invite brands, influencers, and businesses to work with the Viber team if they want to step up their game and engage with our 25 million Viber users,” Gonzalez added.

All Good with Asia’s diamond soul siren Nina

Nina,  hitmaker and Asia’s diamond soul siren is back! She set the bar high for female singers of her generation with the multi-platinum success of her solo albums in the mid-2000s. No doubt it was Nina's flamboyant singing, coupled with impeccable technique, and the right material, that propelled all those albums to dizzying heights.
But it's a more mature Nina that we hear on “All Good,” and there's not a wasted space in this album as Nina gets it going from start to finish. The singer begins her new journey with a brand new original: the mellow pop ballad “All Good,” that is sure to be a new favorite among Nina fans and will surely turn new ears onto the singer as well.

This is certainly good news for her multitude of fans as Nina returns to form and rekindle her love for evocative ballads in her brand new album entitled “All Good,” under Viva Records.

ALL GOOD: NINA
1. MAYBE IT’S TOO SOON
2. SA ISANG TINGIN
3. PERFECT
4. KUNG WALANG IKAW, WALANG AKO
5. MAHAL NA MAHAL KITA
6. ALL GOOD
7. MAKE IT UP TO YOU
8. SAD
9. PAANO
10. WHEN THE LOVE IS GONE
11. HURTING INSIDE
12. PINILIT KONG LIMUTIN KA

BONUS TRACK:

DON’T SAY GOODBYE
(theme song from the movie
“A SECRET AFFAIR”)

Nina unveils a couple of brand new Tagalog songs in her new set, starting with the heart-tugging ballad “Paano,” and then there's the equally emotional love song “Sa Isang Tingin.” Adding to these are “Pinilit Kong Limutin Ka,” and “Kung Walang Ikaw, Walang Ako,”-- all brand new songs—that are sure to make OPM lovers swoon and sway.

Complementing these tunes are the reflective “Maybe It's Too Soon,” and “When The Love Is Gone,” the latter of which sees the relatively-relaxed Diva belting it out a little, but with an oh-so-powerful result! Nina also employs some choice covers as well with the inclusion of her soulful take on “Hurting Inside,” a re-imagining of the ‘90s pop gem “Perfect,” the OPM favorite “Mahal Na Mahal Kita,” and finally, the yearning classic “Don't Say Goodbye,” that many now relate to as the theme to the hit movie "A Secret Affair."

“All Good” is a suite of beautiful songs and is definitely Nina's strongest album in years! A must-hear! --as it is an understated but powerful new album from one of the great female singers of our generation!
