Pizza in 5 Minutes – Korea’s No. 1 “Single-Serve Pizza” GOPIZZA Launches in Changi Airport with Brand-New AI Technology for Fast, Consistently High-Quality Pizza

GOPIZZA opens its 25th store in Singapore, continuing its expansion to provide delicious and convenient pizza options for more customers across the city

New integration of AI-technology: AI-Smart Topping Table, GOVEN and GOBOT takes the stage to deliver delicious GOPIZZA in five minutes

Changi Airport-Exclusive Flavour: Chilli Crab Pizza on GOPIZZA’s special Crispy Basak Dough to tantalise your taste buds with a unique and delicious twist on a local favourite

GOPIZZA’s brand-new outlet at Changi Airport Terminal 2

Renowned pizza brand from South Korea, GOPIZZA, made its debut at Changi Airport's Terminal 2, marking its 25th establishment in Singapore with new flavour and AI-technology introductions within the company.

GOPIZZA’s Next-Gen AI-Technology for Perfect Pizza Anytime, Anywhere

Pizzas are often thought to be a shared-serving meal that requires substantial time to be prepared. However, the launch of GOPIZZA challenges this very mindset by introducing single-serving pizza delivered just like a fast-food meal. Every step of the pizza-making process is strictly controlled with the incorporation of the AI Smart Topping Table, GOBOT Station, and its latest iteration of GOVEN.

This new series of AI-Technology roll-out is especially prominent in GOPIZZA’s Changi Airport outlet, where it ensures consistent and fresh baked pizza for hungry travellers who often face the urgency of purchasing food-on-the-go.

“We're thrilled to bring GOPIZZA to the heart of Changi Airport's Terminal 2. Our core belief is that time is of the essence, and this is also reflected in our motto, 'Fast, But Delicious'.  Incorporating breakthrough technology in our processes, we aim to redefine the dining experience by merging speed with taste. At Changi Airport, travellers can now enjoy quick, freshly baked on-the-spot pizza, ensuring they don't have to compromise quality for time." shared Jay Lim, global CEO of GOPIZZA.

GOPIZZA’s Five Minutes Pizza Journey

Each pizza is assembled on the AI Smart Topping Table, where a smart camera is installed overhead to swiftly identify and track pizza toppings, guiding the staff through each step of assembling the toppings. At the AI Smart Topping Table, the consistency of the ingredients and its quantities are maintained through correction alerts.

It is then baked for 3 minutes in an AI-controlled GOVEN that is twice the temperature as compared to its conventional counterpart.

In just a couple of minutes, the freshly baked GOPIZZA lands on the GOBOT, which is designed to automatically slice the pizzas into GOPIZZA's signature shape and keep them warm until they are served to the customers.

Airport-Exclusive Flavour & Classic K-Food Delights

Changi Airport Exclusive: GOPIZZA Chilli Crab Pizza

With already over 12 different flavours in its menu, GOPIZZA seeks to spoil patrons’ choices even further with another new addition – The Chilli Crab Pizza. Paying homage to the iconic local dish, this airport-exclusive flavour is infused with the rich and tangy flavours that Singaporeans adore, where every bite promises a symphony of sweet, spicy, and savoury notes, mirroring the beloved taste of the classic chilli-tomato sauce. GOPIZZA’s Chilli Crab pizza aims to satiate both the international traveller's curiosity and the local's craving for a taste of home. Alongside the Chilli Crab Pizza, GOPIZZA also launched a series of creatively fresh offerings, such as the Jalapeno Pepperoni Pizza and Truffle Cheese Pizza, also available only at their Changi Airport outlet.

Among other delectable offerings, GOPIZZA remains true to its brand as a Korean pizza brand, introducing Korean delights like Bulgogi Pie, specially curated for the breakfast menu, as well as presenting a classic favourite, Topokki, embodying the essence of Korean street food culture.

All of GOPIZZA’s delicious pizzas are served on GOPIZZA’s Crispy Basak Dough, where it achieves the perfect pizza texture – crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside. The Crispy Basak Dough is also engineered to withstand delivery, guaranteeing that every pizza, whether enjoyed on the spot or delivered to your door, maintains its oven-fresh taste.

GOPIZZA’s Expansion - Locally and Globally

Locally, GOPIZZA has established an impressive count of 25 outlets across the island after the brand first opened its doors here in 2020. Simultaneously, on a global scale, GOPIZZA is experiencing remarkable growth, with projections indicating that the total number of outlets will reach an impressive 200 by October.

This global expansion plan is in full swing, and GOPIZZA is set to open its fifth outlet in Central Park, Indonesia in November 2023. This expansion comes on the heels of the successful inauguration of CGV Grand Indonesia in 2022 and the recent launch of an outlet in Mall of Indonesia.

GOPIZZA's innovative approach to pizza-making, driven by cutting-edge technology and an unwavering commitment to taste-consistency, has made it a beloved choice for pizza enthusiasts worldwide, ensuring a bright and promising future for the brand both locally and globally.

Store Information

Nestled between Dunkin Donuts and Boost Juice Bar, GOPIZZA is located at T2 Departure/Transit South, Unit No. 02-K15 at Changi Airport’s Terminal 2 Departure Hall. Operating hours are from 6AM to 1AM daily.

The World Loves K-Romance And We Have Six New Series to Make Your Heart Beat Faster

If you have been swept off your feet by the unconventional love story in Crash Landing on You, or melted at the first stirrings of connection in Extraordinary Attorney Woo and Business Proposal, then brace yourselves for a heartbeat-skipping announcement.

Audiences worldwide have been growing fonder of K-Romance, and this affection shows no signs of fading. Between 2018 to 2022, global viewership of Netflix’s K-Romance titles tripled. In 2022 alone, more than 90 per cent of this viewing came from outside South Korea.

We’re moved by the affection, and we’re eager to return it in kind. As the home for compelling K-Romance, Netflix will be introducing six new Korean romance series over the upcoming five months.

For decades, this genre has captivated audiences in Korea and throughout Asia, a testament to the storytelling prowess and production expertise of gifted Korean content creators, observes Don Kang, Vice President of Content (Korea). “We’re genuinely humbled by how our emotive Korean shows have found a home in the hearts of global audiences through Netflix, stretching from the U.S., Europe, South America, and beyond. Our stories touch on the universal aspects of life - love, heartbreak, and tenderness, while also providing a peek into the unique facets of Korean culture. Netflix's commitment to forging this profound global connection is something we're truly excited about.”

“Creators have dedicated themselves to painting the delicate dynamics and evolving emotions of our characters,” adds Wooyeon Yang, Director of Content (Korea). The crafting of the hallmark slow-burning intensity of K-romances, along with their wholesome appeal, shapes an undeniably “endearing genre that strikes a chord with global viewers”, she believes.

Netflix’s investment in subtitling and dubbing has been instrumental in expanding the K-Romance audiences. “The impact has been more profound than we ever imagined,” shares Yang. “Despite the diversity of languages, the common thread of understanding and accessing Korean content seems to be a key strength that has set Netflix as a trendsetter.” Yang underscores the value of dubbing, noting that “listening to dialogues in their own languages helps K-Romance resonate more deeply with viewers worldwide”.

Continuing the world's love for this genre, Netflix’s upcoming K-Romance shows will each have their own distinct features. Here’s a sneak peek at what these new shows have to tell.

See You in My 19th Life (premiering June 17)
Enchanting Heroine Meets Heart-stirring Rom-com Saga

In this spinoff from a hit webtoon, Shin Hye-sun stars as a heroine who can remember all her past lives. As a young girl in her 18th life, she falls for a thoughtful boy next door. In her 19th life, she tries to make her way back to him, only to find he has become a cold man who doesn’t want to get close to anyone. Can love triumph across lifetimes?

King the Land (premiering June 17)
Dream Match Meets Workplace Romance
A wealthy heir cannot stand fake smiles. He meets a girl whose bright smile is part of her job — in one of his family businesses. He immediately dislikes her, writing her off as someone who hides her true self behind a fake smile. Former global K-Pop idols Jun-ho and Yoona team up for the first time as actors in this much-anticipated “enemies to lovers” K-Romance.

Behind Your Touch
Comedy meets Suspense with a Dash of Romance
Rom-com queen Han Ji-min plays a veterinarian in a small town who has a very strange gift of psychometry. When she convinces a detective of her abilities, they team up to solve neighborhood crimes.

Destined with You
The Most Spellbinding K-Couple meets in a Classic K-Romance
K-Romance powerhouses Cho Boa and Rowoon (also a K-Pop idol) combine their star wattage in this sweeping saga. Rowoon plays a hotshot lawyer who has it all, but is haunted by a family curse. And it turns out that the woman who is key to breaking this curse is none other than the seemingly ordinary civil servant played by Cho.

A Time Called You (Premiering in third quarter of 2023)
Stars from Business Proposal and Vincenzo in a time-slip romance
Ahn Hyo-seop (from Business Proposal) and Jeon Yeo-been (from Vincenzo) star in this remake of classic Taiwanese romance Someday or One Day. Jeon’s character travels back in time to 1998 and meets a man played by Ahn, who bears an uncanny resemblance to her late boyfriend. In fact, each lead takes on the challenge of playing two characters who look identical, but have completely different personalities — and all the complications that create when it comes to love.

Doona! (Premiering in fourth quarter of 2023)
K-romance meets K-pop
A college student (Yang Se-jong) navigates life and school while dealing with a unique predicament — he's living with a former K-Pop sensation, played by real-life former K-Pop star Suzy. Their relationship starts out as one of mutual misunderstanding and dislike, and grows over time into one of love and trust. But can their connection withstand the cruel pressures of fame?

Anatomy of Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area Cast: The Crew Here to Steal the Show

Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area features an unprecedented heist in the chaotic dystopian peninsula of North and South Korea as they go on the verge of peaceful yet sudden unification. Below, we introduce the crew and cast who will not only execute, but fuel the ultimate heist to come!
Yoo Ji-tae, from the international award-winning film Old Boy, is the Professor – the mastermind behind the heist. The Professor plays a vital role in this series from the beginning, since he is responsible for organizing details and recruiting the thieves from North and South Korea. Yoo Ji-tae said, “To me, the Professor is a genius strategist who plans the heist through his principles and visions.” Behold how the Professor will meticulously guide his crew to execute this greatest heist.
Park Hae-soo, from the global sensation Squid Game, will shift gears to portray Berlin, a cold yet brutal member in Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area. A North Korean who spent 25 years in a concentration camp, Berlin plays a field leader among the thieves during the heist. The rebellious Berlin, who believes total control over people can only be derived from fear and division, will heighten the tension of the plot.
Jun Jong-seo plays Tokyo. She is a North Korean who immigrated to South Korea with a “Korean Dream” when the borders opened. Unlike how she imagined, her life in the South is not so dreamy, but sheer brutal. Just as she finds no hope in life, the Professor persuades her to join his master plan. Accepting his offer, Tokyo is one of the characters who truly has faith in the Professor. Jun Jong-seo commented on Tokyo as “a character whose every decision changes the entire flow of the game.”

Many more actors will add color to the biggest heist!
Lee Won-jong as Moscow

Kim Ji-hun as Denver

Lee Won-jong plays Moscow, and Kim Ji-hun plays his troublesome son Denver. Moscow only dreams of living a normal life with his son. As a South Korean miner, Moscow will be responsible for digging the heist's grand exit. Denver, a former backstreet gang, will show his own emotional, sexy, yet friendly characteristics. Actor Kim Ji-hun, who was recently appointed to star as the main character in Netflix film Ballerina, will play this multifaceted and lively character.
Jang Yoon-ju as Nairobi

Lee Hyun-woo as Rio

Jang Yoon-ju plays Nairobi – a South Korean swindler who is an expert at making counterfeits. As previously seen in her past performances, including the film Veteran, Jang Yoon-ju will add energy to the screen. Lee Hyun-woo brings Rio to life – a former medical school dropout who is now the genius hacker of the crew. It would be interesting to see how Lee Hyun-woo, who has shown a broad appeal from various genres in films and K-dramas, will tackle this role.
(Kim Ji-hoon as Helsinki and Lee Kyu-ho as Oslo)

Kim Ji-hoon portrays Helsinki (aka Ko Myungtae), and Lee Kyu-ho plays Oslo. As ethnic Koreans and former members of a Chinese gang, the duo will be in charge of the team's arsenal.

Whether it is the cute and heartwarming stories of their dramas, the catchy rhythm of their pop music, or the wonders of their fashion and beauty products, the Korean fever has caught the Pinoys by storm. That is why it is no surprise that Filipinos have developed a strong desire to visit and experience Korea for themselves.

Ready, Set, Seoul winner Amy Adona made the best out of her travel experience as she and her husband explored the streets of Korea dressed up in hanbok. (Photo from Brea Adona)
Last year, RCBC launched its Ready, Set, Seoul campaign where it gave customers an opportunity to have an ultimate Korea experience with their MyDebit Mastercard. Dr. Amy Tagaloguin Adona won the prize and embarked on a 4-day trip to Korea with her husband and daughter, enjoying five-star superior room accommodations at the Lotte World Hotel, free shopping and taxi vouchers from Shilla and Shinsegae Duty Free, and passes to some of Lotte World top attractions.

The great Seoul adventure

To start their Seoul vacation, the Adona family dressed up in traditional hanbok costumes and roamed around the Bukchon Hanok Village to explore the quiet neighborhood that is home to Korean culture. They also tasted the various street foods which Korea is known for – from fried skewers and tteokbokki (spicy rice cake), to pajeon (Korean pancake) and big ice cream.

The family had a magical experience at one of the biggest amusement parks in Seoul, the Lotte World. With free passes courtesy of Mastercard, the Adonas enjoyed sightseeing around Lotte World Aquarium, Sky Tower Observatory, and Lotte World Adventure.

“We’ve always wanted to take a break from our busy schedules and spend quality time together as a family. When we were in Lotte World, it was a nice opportunity to bond with my daughter and do fun things together,” said Dr. Amy. “The whole experience at the amusement park was something I really enjoyed and it brought out the child in us again.”

Shopping was definitely the highlight of the family’s Korea vacation especially with Dr. Amy’s RCBC MyDebit Mastercard. With her card loaded with the P40,000 prize, the family enjoyed cashless transactions as they spent a day shopping in the malls of Seoul.

When you have your debit card, you can be assured na lagi ka may pang-bayad kasi nandoon na ‘yung savings mo.Nowadays, most stores, even in abroad, accept debit cards for payment so I didn’t have to worry about bringing dollars for the trip.”

On how grateful she is for the amazing Korea experience, Dr. Amy shares, “My family and I are really thankful to RCBC, Mastercard, Lotte World and Openbay Korea for giving us an opportunity to unlock great moments in Seoul. I didn’t think something as simple as using my RCBC MyDebit card can bring us to Korea.”

Samsung Ph launch QLED TV, Korean's Kim Soo Hyun is the special guest

Samsung Philippines marks the next innovation in television with the QLED TV

“The Next Frontier,” - Samsung Electronics Philippines Corporation declared a new era of television viewing as they officially launched the QLED TV in the country.

Hosted by TV personality and radio jock Sam Oh, the launch of QLED TV held at Okada Manila, on May 26, 2017, the event brought together Samsung executives, led by President Kevin Lee, media, and valued dealer-partners as they witnessed how the QLED TV delivers a next generation display that overcomes the disadvantages of other competing technologies.

Highlighting this groundbreaking technology, the tech giant brought in Korean celebrity Kim Soo Hyun as a special guest to support the local launch of the QLED TV.

The actor expressed his excitement as he revealed the product that aims to give consumers a viewing experience like no other.

Kim Soo Hyun is best known for korean tv drama roles in Dream High, My Love From The Star,  Most Embrasing The Sun and The Producers.

Watching TV has changed through the years and is now more central in the lives of consumers. From being a mere source of entertainment, TVs are now considered as windows that let users experience the world right from their homes.

With its exclusive Quantum Dot technology, the Samsung QLED TV turns light into perfect color, making a powerful combination that revolutionizes picture quality. The new television line also offers HDR 1500 brightness and 100% color volume expression, enabling viewers to watch scenes just as how the creator intended them to be. It can also reproduce almost any color known to man, making HDR content more vibrant and natural-looking.

Beauty and functionality work hand-in-hand in the Samsung QLED TV. Its revolutionary design uses an Invisible Connection cable for other TV connected devices, removing the pain point of dealing with unsightly and tangled cables, and making it a great addition to any room. To further add to the clean design, users have the option to avail of the no-gap wall mount, which allows the TV to sit flush against the wall. Also available are an array of stands, such as gravity and studio stands, that can blend in with any living space.

A smart TV needs an equally smart remote, and with the QLED TV’s One Remote Control that covers all connected devices, users will have an easier time navigating whether they want to play games, watch sports, or stream their favorite TV shows. Users can also turn their mobile phones into a personal remote through the Smart View app. More entertainment options are provided by the Samsung QLED TV as it comes equipped with apps, services, and other content through the Smart Hub.

To bring to life the qualities of the product that define the future of TV—superior picture quality, freedom in design, and smart interactivity—artists performed a dramatic and breathtaking dance supported by an integrated play of visuals. Experience zones were also set up during the event, allowing curious guests to get a first-hand viewing experience of the QLED TV.

“Each year we challenge ourselves into coming up with upgrades and innovations, but this year’s QLED TV really is the pinnacle of high-quality viewing,” shared Samsung Product Marketing Head for AV Jun Guevara.
“From pure lifelike colors, to the easy-to-use One Remote Control, to attention to design inside and out—the QLED TV ends the debate and is undoubtedly the next innovation in TV.”
Samsung also welcomed two local ambassadors for the QLED TV campaign—award-winning filmmaker Paul Soriano and tastemaker Tessa Prieto-Valdes—creative industry movers and shakers whose unapologetic taste, individual style, and uncompromising standards match that of Samsung’s new line.

“We’re happy to formally introduce Paul and Tessa as our local ambassadors, who are industry leaders in their own realm. We believe that they are instrumental in showcasing the benefits of the QLED TV through their different fields and passion points," said Samsung Marketing Director Chad Sotelo.

The new line-up of the QLED TV is available in authorized Samsung dealers nationwide. For more details, visit the Samsung Facebook page or log on to samsung.com/ph
