Joby Linsangan-Moreno, celebrity entrepreneur and owner of Orange Blush Salon
One of the fastest-growing salon chains in Luzon, the Orange Blush Salon always put priority to deliver salon services with the highest quality yet affordable.

Orange Blush Salon (OBS) has recently welcomed the newest member of its family: the OBS SuperCut, the first pop-up salon in the country.

The OBS SuperCup is a specialty salon booth that offers hassle-free and professional Haircutting and Manicure/Pedicure services.

“Express ang lahat ng serbisyo,” taking a quote from its Facebook posts. The project was unveiled last October at the Ground Floor Robinsons Townville, Cabanatuan City. Lucky OBS clients availed the ‘pisong gupit’ offering on its opening day.

The people behind Orange Blush Salon, led by celebrity entrepreneur and owner Joby Linsangan-Moreno, always strive to think of innovative ways on how to make OBS stand out among the rest in the salon industry.

Aside from their affordable salon deals and services, OBS proudly introduced its latest hair products:
  • OBS After Conditioner Treatment
  • OBS Leave-On Hair Conditioner
These are especially formulated for salon-treated hair and are exclusively available at Orange Blush Salons and OBS SuperCut. Try them and see for yourselves the wonders these products do to your salon-treated hair. You can now maintain healthy, soft, and shiny tresses with the touch of your fingertips right at home.

Orange Blush Salon always offers top-of-the-line service to its clients – pampering them as if they are royalties. Clients are welcomed by the cozy and vibrant orange color of the salon’s interiors the moment they enter the doorstep.

Joby explained, “The color orange represents happiness, positivity, and optimism. It’s the color we want people to see (and feel) when they come to our salons.”

Since opening its first branch in Cabanatuan City in 2003, Orange Blush Salon has expanded to more than 20 branches in North Luzon. Not only is OBS one of the fastest growing chain of salons in Nueva Ecija and nearby provinces. It has now made its way to Manila with its flagship salon in Cubao. Other metro branches can be found in Sta. Cruz, Manila and Katipunan, Quezon City. Manileños do not need to travel far away because they can now experience the same royal treatment that OBS clients in the provinces enjoy.

OBS offers a wide-range of deals and services that include haircutting, hair treatments, hair rebonding, hair straightening, hair coloring, manicure and pedicure, foot spa, makeup, Power Dose Treatment, Brazillian Keratin Treatment, and Semi De Lino Treatment, among others.

The Orange Lady, Joby Linsangan Moreno talks about her 10 Commandments

Joby Linsangan Moreno, the lady behind Orange Blush Salon talked about her 10 Commandments as The Orange Lady in her first public engagement as a professional speaker.

Joby delivering her talk entitled," The 10 Commandments of the Orange Lady"

The event billed Elevate: Primed For Greatness held at The Podium Special Events Center, Cabanatuan City and organized by Lvrage, saw Joby talking before a mixed crowd of students and professionals.

Joby opened her first salon at age 23 in Nueva Ecija from the remnants of a beauty parlor about to close shop. It was a huge move for Joby who with her savings of 30,000 pesos chose to invest in the salon business. She was at that time working as a medical technologist.

"When I went to college at 17, I did not know na ang med tech nasa lab pala," she recalls. "I did not know, nag aanalyze pala ng ihi, poop, dugo at iba pa. Eh ayaw ko pa naman ng kumukuha ng dugo," she explains.

Joby then realized that all she wanted was to be a business woman. "I was 23 when I established my salon in Nueva Ecija and my goal was to make it a national brand."

But six months after her first beauty shop opened, "pinirata yung tatlong stylists ko," she reveals. To save the situation, she had to run to the adjacent beauty salon for help. "Pag may pumasok na kliyente sa amin, tatakbo ako sa kabilang parlor, sasabihin ko, paghatian natin, 50-50 tayo sa 60 pesos na gupit."

Despite the difficulties, Joby survived. And 14 years later, Orange Blush Salon put up 20 branches scattered in the different parts of Northern Luzon and Metro Manila. 10 branches are wholly owned while the other 10 are franchises. The flagship store is located in Sparks Place Cubao.

Orange Lady's First Commandment: Put God first

As a successful business woman, Joby follows 10 rules which she calls,

"The 10 Commandments of the Orange Lady"
1. Put God First In Everything You Do.
2. Treat Others The Way You Want To Be Treated.
3. Spend Quality And Undivided Time With Your Loved Ones.
4. Love Your Family Unconditionally.
5. Dream Big. Start Small.
6. Be Proactive. Focus.
7. Do Not Complain.
8. Feel Beautiful. Be Beautiful.
          9. Count Your Blessings.
10. Find Your Purpose And Seize It. Let Your Light Shine.

Joby also subscribes to the mantra, "For with God, nothing shall be impossible," Luke 1:37.

Joby is married to businessman Lawrence Moreno, her first and only boyfriend. They have three kids. Joby is an Asian Artists Agency talent.

Joby Linsangan Moreno Is The Orange Lady

Businesswoman Joby Linsangan-Moreno,, owner of the Orange Blush Salon with several branches in Luzon and Metro Manila, shared that the color orange represents happiness, positivity, and optimism.

Dubbed as the "Orange Lady," Joby is likely to be seen more and more spreading good word about hair care and entrepreneurial success as she is signed as a talent under Asian Artists Agency Inc.

AAAI is developing personalities that go beyond the conventional definition of an artist. And Joby is one that can positively influence people through her success in business. And she inspires dreamers like her to attain their lofty goals.

"Running a business is not merely a way of earning money. It's about putting your heart and soul to something you are passionate about. It is your path to growing and glowing," shared Joby who finished a course in medical technology and is a licensed medical technologist. After graduation, she worked in a local hospital in her hometown Cabanatuan, before answering the calling of her heart.

Joby is the creator of the Orange Blush Salon chain, which started as a small parlor in Cabanatuan and has now 20 outlets spread out in Luzon. It is bound to take Metro Manila by storm after last year's opening of its state-of-the-art flagship branch in Quezon City that was put up as a haven for franchisees.

OBS is a premier stop for affordable haircut and hair rebond service, capturing the 18-40 market of young professionals, young mothers, or just about everyone attuned to the ever-trendy straight hair fashion. While Joby owns half of the existing OBS outlets to date, business players diversifying their opportunity approach tend to like it as good investment or avenue to earn more. More importantly, it is a result-oriented place warmly extending beauty care service to people.

Four years after the franchisee tandem of Atty. Sherwin Tuquero and wife Ciara Bernadette put up an OBS outlet-- the first branded salon to open up in the close-knit community of Victoria, Tarlac, the small town now happily enjoys the constant presence of hair and nail care professionals and the privilege of not having a bad hair day.

A new branch opening in Lipa, Batangas is likewise expected to get that emphatic effect among its townsfolk.
She shared, "We specialize in post-service treatment because it's one way to know if you're constantly doing a good job. If a customer comes back to make use of our warranty offer, which basically means an extra round of service free of charge, it's a chance to prove that for us, the bottomline is really to satisfy clients."
No doubt carrying the moniker "The Orange Lady” sounds cool to Joby, a devoted wife who married her first and only boyfriend in life and a caring mother of three who does mother duties first before giving back her focus on the business. Besides, it's her favorite color and the one thing that quickly differentiates it from other salons.

"The orange color makes me happy. It is not too aggressive like red or too relaxing like yellow. It imbues tranquility, energy, and youthfulness," she explained.

Good point. She related how she needed to hire young people to work for OBS during the start-up years, how she had to learn the art of hair cutting and coloring and attend seminars herself, and how being a businesswoman entails hard work way past the eight-hour regular job.

But she endured everything, from the birth pains of a then-unknown business name to her continuing quest to turn Orange Blush into a national brand. She has pretty much achieved it with peace in her heart, believing she is destined to do this and knowing that problems will always be solved, especially for people making solutions.

One of these solutions is her CSR project wherein she partners with TESDA in creating the Orange Institute of Fashion and the Arts. Here, scholars are guided to learning the technicalities of salon work and given certificates of competency that should give them the door key to working for OBS.
Joby stated, "We put up a training school for would-be salon professionals as our way of teaching kids how to fish. When you can deeply relate yourself to a business you want to go into, it gives you a sense of being. Back in the day I wanted to color my hair myself. I probably knew I wanted to be in the beauty care service business ever since I started combing my hair. After a while I decided I couldn't be in a medicine laboratory, I have to be in a salon!"
To be exact a salon that blushes and so orange, like her.

Orange Blush Salon Cubao Opens, Franchise Branches Inaugurated Soon

With more than 20 branches, to conquer the metro carrying with that unique and "probinsiyano brand" that they represent, Orange Blush Salon launches its first Metro Manila flagship salon located in Spark Place Cubao.

Franchising has been at the forefront of Orange Blush expansion plans.

"We want to broaden our reach to as many markets, not just in the provinces but in the metro as well," she explains.

"We want the people to know that they, too can own a salon," says Joby Linsangan Moreno, president of Orange Blush Salon.

Very soon, two franchise branches will open: one in Sta Cruz Manila and another in Quezon City area. "We are targeting to launch 8 more franchise branches this year," she says.

Orange Blush Salon is a story of success from being a probinsyano (brand) conquering the the big city.

Joby Linsangan Moreno, president of Orange Blush Salon

"We carry with us that unique and probinsiyano brand that we represent,” she explains.

Orange Blush Salon opened its first branch in Nueva Ecija in 2003. Joby who has always been interested in the beauty business started the first Orange Blush Salon from the remnants of a financially strapped salon about to close shop. Orange Blush Salon Opens Branch in Cubao

Orange Blush Salon will have its first branch in Metro Manila with the opening of a new salon in Spark Place Cubao in July.

Orange Blush Salon opened its first branch in Nueva Ecija in 2003.

Joby Linsangan Moreno proprietor Orange Blush Salon
“It was already a small salon by then, owned and operated by a hairstylist and two other junior stylists. It was about to close down due to financial difficulties, and I was at that time, looking for a place already to put up my own small salon since I had always been interested in the beauty business," says Joby Linsangan Moreno, proprietor of Orange Blush Salon.

Joby took pride—and still does—in Orange Blush being a proud and successful probinsyano brand. And she knows deep in her heart, that inevitably, the day would come when she would have to expand the reach of the business outside Nueva Ecija either through franchising or putting up new company-owned branches.

“The plan was to move to conquer the metro, carrying with us that unique and probinsiyano brand that we represent,” she explains.

Now, they are all set to launch a branch in Spark Place Cubao and even have special promos. These include an opening promo of P20 per haircut if a customer wears orange (this will go on for three days following the opening, she says); anybody who comes in with an Orange Blush salon flyer will get a 25 percent discount in the newly-opened salon; a Loyalty Card that entitles the customer to a free hair treatment on the fourth visit and a free manicure and pedicure on the eighth visit.

“There will also be freebies to be given away during the opening,” says Joby excitedly.

But that’s not all. Joby also shares that the first franchise salon of Orange Blush will open in Bambang, Sta. Cruz, also in July with three more franchises to open soon.

With this move to the big city, Metro Manilans will finally get to experience the kind of impeccable service that Orange Blush has become known for in Central Luzon.

Joby and her staff are looking forward to welcoming clients and having them try their rebonding services, their manicure and pedicure, hair treatments and hair coloring, and the money-back guarantee.

Orange Blush is one of the very few (if not the only) salon that is so confident about the services it offers that it has a money-back guarantee in case customers are not happy with the service."Sinasabi namin lagi na sa Orange Blush salon, warantisado ang kagandahan. Meron po warranty ang lahat ng customer ng Orange Blush," Joby adds.

Look Stunning this Summer with ‘Sakto Deals’ at Orange Blush Salon

Get shiny,  healthy looking hair and  look stunning this summer, at the Orange Blush Salon.

Orange Blush Salon is one of the fastest growing chain of salons in Luzon provinces. Orange Blush salon first opened in 2003 located in Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija.

The salon easily attracts customers and immediately makes them feel comfortable. The salon is also easily distinguishable by its very colorful and well-lit interiors.

Orange Blush Salon is continuously taking on greater heights. 2016 is a very exciting and promising year for Orange Blush Salon's expansion plans.

Orange Blush Salon owner Joby Linsangan-Moreno,  a young entrepreneur, recently held an exclusive meet with media and bloggers announced that they are soon opening branches here in Metro Manila.

This summer, keep your hair in tip-top shape with special summer ‘Sakto Deals’ at Orange Blush Salon.

Joby Linsangan Moreno

“Just like with any other hair treatments, hair should be treated with extra care this summer due exposure to sun, to chemical-treated water, and salt water,” says Orange Blush owner Joby Linsangan Moreno

According to Joby, once your hair is treated—whether it’s rebonded, highlighted or colored—it should always be treated with conditioning treatments regularly to avoid hair dryness and split ends. One may be advised to have his/her hair rebonded, as long as hair is also treated with hair conditioning treatments like hair spa, hot oil, essential oils on a regular basis.

To make caring for hair easier for clients this summer, Orange Blush is introducing three package deals at special prices.
Sakto Deal 1 (for P999) includes rebond with cellophane, keratin treatment, hair spa and hair shine treatments.
Sakto Deal 2 (for P1499) includes rebond with permanent color, cellophane, keratin treatment, hair spa and hair shine treatments.
Sakto Deal 3 (for P2499) includes rebond with Brazilian keratin treatment, cellophane, hair spa and hair shine treatments.
Aside from the above-mentioned packages, Orange Blush Salon is also introducing Cooling Hair Treatments to beat the summer heat, mentholated hot oil and hair spa, mentholated foot scrub and bright, happy colors for nails.

Further, all their services come with a warranty (to ensure that their services were done properly, and to ensure that customers are satisfied with the services), a biscuits buffet and orange juice for total comfort and protection of their clients.

One of the interesting Orange offers in the salon, treatments with the Brazilian Keratin, designed to bring life back to severely damaged hair with keratin as its main ingredient.

According to  Joby, Keratin is the protein component of the hair, and makes it shiny, soft and healthy. When hair is regularly colored and treated, the natural keratin in our hair tends to be lost, and that’s when hair becomes dry, frizzy, damaged and unmanageable. Brazilian Keratin can get it looking normal and healthy again and bring your hair back to what it used to be.

“Brazilian Keratin contains the keratin needed to revive our hair's luster and softness after all the hair chemical processes. This is a revolutionary solution to most of our hair problems,” says Joby .

And more interesting finds, Ms. Joby said that their customers can make a follow-up visit to check on how their services and treatments are holding up. Now that's what quality service is about!

“It is always our priority to deliver salon services with the highest quality yet affordable,” says Joby.

"it’s our way of ensuring that the clients are consistently satisfied with the services we offer." Joby added.

With the Summer packages, says Joby, you shouldn’t be afraid to have your hair treated, especially rebonded, this summer.

So visit Orange Blush Salon and let the experts show you how to get that stunning summer look now!
